How Campus Space Is Allocated and Managed

The allocation and reallocation of space on campus is guided by the University’s Strategic Plan, Master Plan, and space utilization data. The Guidelines for the Allocation and/or Reallocation of Space Policy establishes standards to ensure the effective, efficient, and equitable allocation and reallocation of University space resources. These standards are informed by the University’s Strategic Plan, Facilities Master Plan, and space utilization data.

Space and Furniture Requests

Any member of the University wanting to allocate or reallocate a space on campus must submit a formal request to the Campus Space Working Group by submitting the Space Request Form. Requests to move furniture in a person’s space or from storage must be submitted using this form as well.
