Health Services
Have a medical emergency?
A healthy body is a healthy mind.
Whether you are feeling sick or need medical advice, our professional staff of licensed Nurse Practitioners at Health Services are here to take care of you. Our mission is to provide coordinated health care, wellness education, and disease prevention, enabling students to achieve their academic goals.
WSU Health Services is conveniently located in the back of the Scanlon Hall—just follow the rainbow crosswalk. Our services are available to all undergraduate students, are completely free, and we do not bill insurance for visits. Students will always see a medical provider for their visit.
While Health Services does not bill student insurance for visits, any labs, imaging, prescriptions, or other services performed, sent, or obtained offsite will be billed directly to the student's health insurance by the outside entity (such as imaging centers, labs, or pharmacies). This may result in a copay, deductible, or balance due that is the student's responsibility. Health Services cannot advise students regarding what may or may not be covered by their individual insurance plan.
We also partner with Westfield Stop & Shop pharmacy to offer vaccine clinics on campus and work with Tapestry Health to provide six Naloxone (Narcan) boxes throughout campus for overdose prevention.
Health Services Provides:
- Sick visits
- Health Education
